Our organisation and community are based on dāna (offerings), the Buddhist principle of generosity. As part of utilizing Buddhist philosophical teachings, we think it's important that we run our organization (Vihara) on the basis of dāna and aim to inspire a culture of giving.

Well-wishers may offer financial support by sponsoring daily expenses. Donations received through such sponsorships will support operational costs that include utilities, maintenance of premises, mortgage payments and cost of travel for volunteers.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

We also make additional income from running courses on donations, book sales, and other Buddhist artefacts, fundraising events on special ceremonial days on the Buddhist calendar, keeping with the concept of dāna to establish and maintain Nissokarama Vihara we invite members of the community to volunteer with us.
